The town of Little Elm is located in Denton County. This small community provides suburban living with easy access to all that the Metroplex has to offer.
Little Elm was incorporated in 1966 and has grown steadily along with its surrounding cities. Known as "The Town With Lake Character," Little Elm sits on the northeastern banks of Lake Lewisville. Cottonwood Park has boat launch ramps, more than 150 boat slips and a full-service marina. Little Elm Park is also on the waterfront, offering picnic areas to enjoy the view, a nature trail, a bandstand and ballfields. Children in Little Elm attend award-winning schools in the Little Elm and Frisco independent school districts.
Lake Lewisville is a hot spot for Dallas Fort Worth Metroplex recreation. With 23,000 acres, and 233 miles of shoreline, the lake is big enough for many water sports such as wind surfing, sailboating, power boating, jet skiing and water skiing.
