   The Plano area offers an impressive array of nature attractions. Visit the Dallas Zoo and the Fort Worth Zoo, and view exotic and native animals in landscaped natural habitats. The Dallas World Aquarium and Rainforest features 80,000 gallons of saltwater exhibits. The rainforest exhibit gives visitors a chance to see plants and animals from Venezuela, along the Orinoco River. The Dallas Arboretum and Botanical Gardens is home to 66 lushly landscaped acres of trees, gardens and lawns nestled beside beautiful White Rock Lake
   There are two amusement parks in the area: the Six Flags Hurricane Harbor water park and Six Flags Over Texas, where you can find everything from waterslides to thrilling roller coasters. Ripley's Believe It or Not and The Palace of Wax features more than 175 lifelike wax figures from Hollywood, history, religion and horror. SpeedZone in a 12-acre racing park that also includes miniature golf and a game room. GameWorks spans 34,000 square feet and offers the latest technology in a friendly, interactive environment.
   Medieval Times Dinner and Tournament is entertainment based upon the glory of the Middle Ages. Guests will experience spectacular pageantry, dramatic horsemanship, breathtaking swordplay, falconry, sorcery and an authentic jousting tournament, along with a four-course meal. Billy Bob's Texas was named by the Country Music Association and Academy of Country Music as the best country music nightclub in the world. It is also home to an indoor arena where you can see professional rodeo cowboys strut their stuff.

Shopping

Plano has more than 70 shopping centers, including two malls, an outlet mall and a historic downtown shopping district. One of the largest malls in the Metroplex, Collin Creek Mall is truly one-stop shopping. You will enjoy beautiful two-level shopping at five major department stores including Dillard's and Foley's, and more than 160 specialty shops.
   West End Marketplace is the shopping and entertainment center of the West End of downtown Dallas. Eat and mingle with the stars at Planet Hollywood, or satisfy your sweet tooth at The Fudgery. Enjoy an entire day or evening under one roof, browsing specialty shops and getting caught up in the action.
